Pamela Estoppey - Paddleboard Rentals

Unfortunately, we did not have such a great experience. We are still in the process of trying to get it fixed, but waiting to hear back from the company. My daughter arrived with her friend to go paddle boarding. They insisted that they had a phone with them on the water so my daughter bought a bag that they sell there. It has a chain connected to the bag and you put your phone inside you wear it around your neck. 10 minutes into their paddle boarding the chain broke and my daughters brand new iPhone fell into the water and sun to the bottom of Shem Creek. She did not even want to bring her phone and asked if she could keep it in her car and they said that she had to have it with her. The chain came unfastened from the bag which caused it to fall off her neck and sink. Nature adventures told her that she signed a waiver, and it was not their fault and there was nothing they can do. My husband spoke to Catherine and Elizabeth and we are waiting to hear back. They seem to blame it on the company who made the bags. Obviously, that is not our fault or our problem. Isn’t this why companies have insurance? Between the paddle boarding, find the bag and the iPhone, it was almost a $1300 three hours. We are waiting to hear back so hopefully they will do the right thing and I can adjust and change this review.
