There is an amazing place! We saw pelicans, dolphins and fish!

We did our first paddle with Nature Adventures when we were visiting and loved it. Now we paddle with all four of our kids.

They were friendly. They gave good instructions. They even gave advice regarding routes to paddle with the tide and the best strategy to see dolphins. And we did see dolphins - 4 adults, one with a baby. Awesome!

Loved it here! The People are as friendly as they come. The view is also amazing. I almost always see Dolphins. Prices are high for some but very reasonable for the area.

Awesome staff ..don’t sleep on this awesome experience when your in town. Very affordable and always seeing the dolphins or wild birds when we go out. I’ve been three times now and each time was just as memorable. Go kayaking and you won’t regret it just bring your water bottle and sun screen!

The staff there were very nice! The day my friend and went, they were short staffed. They did their best to accommodate, and worked very hard to get people in the water. I will definitely be back!

Staff was great. Well managed and explanation of safety and where one can paddle. Equipment was good condition. We went on a windy day so that made the one direction harder to paddle. I think the sit in kayaks might paddle a little easier.

Cool place for kayaking: friendly and laid back

We rented a 2 person tandem kayak and loved it! The staff is incredibly nice and so helpful! We had dolphins right near our boat and saw many young pelicans at the bird sanctuary. It is an easy trip and you will truly enjoy the adventure!

We started our tour with John in the Frances Marion, Wambaw Swamp, this was alot of fun, it was very quite & John was very knowledgeable on the Flora. We had so much fun we decided to go back & rent a kayak on our own for the afternoon & kayaked in Shem Creek. Both tours were AWESOME

We had a great experience in a tandem kayak. The launch spot is so convenient. We saw several dolphins that swam along side us and enjoyed such a scenic experience along the water. All of the employees were so kind and helpful! When we were done we were able to enjoy restrooms nearby and a great meal in vibrant Shem creek watching all of the boats come and go. Just perfect!

Enjoyed kayaking in Charleston's harbor

My brother wanted to celebrate my birthday with me! This was a bucket list item of mine. Also a fun thing to do since staying somewhat restricted at home for the last 2.5 years! Josh was an amazing guide with historical and present facts and fun about the Shem Creek area! He gets a 10! I would do this again and again.

In total it was about $50 per person (2 of us) for 4 hours which isnt too bad! Staff was friendly and helpful. We're here on labor day weekend and went out about 9:30 in the morning on Saturday. As soon as we launched off the ramp we were greeted by a dolphin (picture attached) and he or she breached right by us multiple times! Already worth the money. Saw quite a few birds and we even were greeted by an alligator (no pic of him or her, we decided to put some distance there). Lots of other friendly kayakers/paddle boarders/boaters on the water and overall a good vibe and awesome experience. Definitely worth taking a morning to do this! such a gorgeous area! the workers were friendly, professional & fun! my husband & I got a tandem kayak and were about to see a dolphin, get a fun light workout in and also see John B & Sarah while they filmed OuterBanks on the creek!! 10/10 and would definitely go again
