quick, easy checkin. Ample parking. Easy to find location right on Shem creek. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. We did a SUP tour and it was so much fun. Will use this company every time for our water rental needs.

Wonderful experience. Our group was given thorough instructions before starting the tour. Our guide, Ben, was very knowledgeable about the history of the Lowcountry and the fauna and floral. Also, a fun, engaging guy. Highly recommend this tour!

Matt was a wonderful guide with so much knowledge about the ecosystem and the community. He even was concerned about a horseshoe crab we encountered on our tour. I’d definitely recommend Nature Adventures and would love to do a longer tour when back in the area!

Ben took us out on a sunset kayak tour of Shem Creek, and it was a fantastic experience. His knowledge of the ecology and sense of humor made it educational and fun, and he provided guidance with kayaking skills and the opportunity to explore interesting spots. He made sure that the second half of the tour was more of a float and I particularly enjoyed the period of quiet when the group simply floated a distance and not one person was talking - just taking in the experience and enjoying the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the nature around us. Highly recommend.

We had a perfect morning with cloud cover and very gentle breezes to moderate the heat. Ben was very knowledgeable and made the tour really interesting by sharing all kinds of historical and scientific information. In summer we were very glad we took the 8am tour.

Ben was a great tour guide for our 2-hour kayak trip. We had a great, relaxing time kayaking along Shem Creek and learning everything from ecology and biology to history and interesting anecdotes about the area.

Great fun! Great guide! Felt safe! Would recommend for great family fun! Wish we could have spent more times with the Dolphins but that was the Dolphins decision. :)

Re: Wambaw Creek Trip. This is a peaceful beautiful paddle. Our guide, Jay, pointed out trees birds and of course gators. We were taught information about the eco system. On our trip we saw a Barred Owl , a Swallow Tailed Kite, Carolina wren, gators and more. Jay pointed out Cypress trees that are hundreds of years old. Great trip!

This is a top notch group of people who are focused on providing a great experience. Ben was an excellent tour guide who really wanted to make sure all had a wonderful experience

Fantastic chilled out guided kayak tour of Shem Creek (by Caroline) I was expecting a tour with other persons but it turned out just the 2 of us so was a pleasant surprise! Learned a lot about the local wildlife and were lucky enough to see the famous Shem Creek dolphin! Highly recommended!

Kathie was the BEST tour guide. It was even better that only 4 of us (another mother/daughter on their vacation just like us). We saw a Mom and baby dolphin towards the end of the tour and we had a leisure and pleasant/informative tour. I would do it again and I n usually don't repeat anything I do including vacationing in the same place twice.

Matt was a great guide for a 3 hour tour of Shem Creek and the surrounding areas. Lots of patience with inexperienced kayakers and he was really knowledgeable about the areas we passed through. Definitely a fun time

We decided to go kayaking on a guided tour. We had a a very small group of two couples and the guide. I would recommend going on a rainy day because you aren’t sweating while kayaking. We were able to go through some estuaries and the guide gave us some very interesting details.

What an amazing experience! I went with my 4 children and mother. As soon as we began the guided tour, we saw dolphins! It was such a breathtaking experience. The tour guide was great. Very patient with one of our kayak groups from my family who were having issues. The tour guide was also very informative of the historical information he gave throughout the tour. I would 100% recommend this to anyone near Mount Pleasant, SC.

We had a great time kayaking on Wambaw Creek with John as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the wildlife and plants that we saw. We were surprised to see several alligators, turtles and one rather scary snake in a tree. We had all kayaked some before, but I think this was my favorite trip! Don't forget your water and hats! Fortunately, it wasn't too hot the day of our trip, so it wasn't too bad. We were a group of "mature" adults and would do it again in a heartbeat. Absolutely loved it!!!

I would honestly recommend nature adventures over and over. They are absolutely amazing from booking all the way to the end of the trip. We will use them again for sure. Our guide was absolutely amazing and someone in our group canceled very last minute and no one else could go, she was nice enough to hop in a kayak with my daughter who has never done this before, she taught her how and didn’t mind at all. She has so much information to share while on our trip. I don’t think you’d get this type of service anywhere else!!!!

Ben was a great guide. Knew everything about the environment, birds, eco-system, and a few extras! Highly recommend the sunrise tour. It was so quiet and peaceful!

My girlfriends and I chose Nature Adventure Outfitters to go kayaking and they were unbelievably wonderful! To start, I wasn't supposed to go, so I didn't have proper shoes. They let me borrow some for free! And let us use their sun tan lotion! Who does that anymore? The tour itself was outstanding. Tillman is a doll! Very knowledgable, super nice, patient, and gave us a great ride! We even saw dolphins!!! Don't go anywhere else, trust me, this is the place to be!

We had an incredible time on Shem Creek in a tandem kayak. Our tour guide, Ethan, was fun, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The water was calm, the weather was perfect, and we even saw a few dolphins right at the end of our day out on the water. Highly recommend!

I recently did a 3.5 + hour guided saltwater kayak tour with Nature Adventure Outfitters. I cannot express what a super time I had. If you plan on a tour with this company you will not be disappointed. Our guide Ed was amazing. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the trip. Ed gave us an extra .5 hour just because he loves to paddle, guide and is passionate about the local flora and fauna. Have fun!
