Can rent kayak for the day for fairly cheap

Nature Adventures is the absolute best choice for kayaking, paddle boarding, or water tours in Charleston. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, rates are very competitive, and the equipment is well maintained. I am an experienced kayaker, so I took one out on my own, but the staff provides thorough instructions and training for all levels. You can go on your own, in a group, or even with a guide. Nature Adventures is conveniently located on Shem Creek, which provides many options for exploring inlets or the harbor. There are many waterfront restaurants to enjoy before or after your time on the water. You will see many treasures of nature during your time on your board or kayak - I saw dolphins, manatees, and many types of fish and birds on my paddle, which was an extra bonus. Whether a local or visitor to the Charleston area, definitely consider Nature Adventures for your next water outing - they will not disappoint!

Great experience, places for easy relaxing kayaking and areas where more waves and little more challenging and great chance to see dolphins, had one right beside my kayak

Great experience here in Charleston

Our team had an amazing experience kayaking here! From start to finish, everything was smooth and well-organized. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we felt comfortable before heading out on the water. The equipment was in great condition, and the route was beautiful with plenty to see and enjoy along the way. I would 10/10 would do it again and would recommend for people who love nature!

A little slow getting off after getting there early, but the staff was nice and we had a great time. We saw turtles, dolphins and manatees. Tandem kayak rentals.

I'd definitely recommend this if you aren't familiar with Charleston or being in a kayak! If you know about the Shem creek area - then don't worry about a guide. You can still use their kayak's without one. It was fun and my arms didn't hurt the next day!

It was good but for just renting a kayak it came out as the same cost as a tour which seems crazy to me. Didn't really see much and was disappointed the tour got cancelled and we couldn't get another tour so we paid the same amount to rent a kayak and do it our self. Seems pricey. But was alright

Best kayaking experience we've ever had! Spotted tons of dolphins and birds we had never seen before. Easy kayaking but tons of motor boats and other kayakers to navigate through. Loved that the company provided a map attached to the front of the kayak and a pump to remove excess water. Such an incredible experience. Maybe do a weekday for less boat traffic.

Awesome staff ..don’t sleep on this awesome experience when your in town. Very affordable and always seeing the dolphins or wild birds when we go out. I’ve been three times now and each time was just as memorable. Go kayaking and you won’t regret it just bring your water bottle and sun screen!

What an amazing experience! Super friendly and upbeat staff! Getting our SUP rentals was quicky and easy. We were out on the water within minutes. It was really cool to see dolphins swimming around us most of the time! Definitely would recommend this place!

Very cool. Would definitely do again. Went in the A.M which is great to beat the heat. Lower tide, would want to go at a later time also because you can see dolphins which we weren’t able to see, nevertheless it was a great time and a lot easier since we are not pro.
