Loved this kayaking company! So professional and nice. Has a shower and nice restroom as well. We enjoyed the route too! Would use again!

We rented tandem kayaks for our family on our recent trip and it was great! We booked them online ahead of time and it was very easy to navigate getting there and getting out on the water. We had them for up to 4 hours and we were out for about 3 and had a great time. My one piece of advice would be to check the tides before you choose your time to go out. We didn't realize how much that would impact where we would go but it did limit how much time we could go up the creek. We saw several dolphins and enjoyed the many birds up the creek as well. Highly recommend as a good family activity when in the area!

Always a great place to rent kayaks! Very informative. We've done a tour which was great and then also have gone on our own and you get a map for that. Lots of wildlife to see.

Great relaxing time out on the water. Got to see some dolphins and lots of other cool wildlife. We liked how you could do as little or as much as you wanted within your rental time. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing morning trip with two teenage boys. We saw dolphins, a shark, and many birds. My husband and I think living on Shem's creek would be just amazing. We will be back to visit for sure!

What a great three hours this was!! Beautiful weather, amazing sights, good exercise, wonderful assistance from the staff… we won’t be waiting long to kayak Shem Creek again. Thank you, Nature Adventures, for creating such an exceptional memory for my grandsons and me. ☺️

Loved it here! The People are as friendly as they come. The view is also amazing. I almost always see Dolphins. Prices are high for some but very reasonable for the area.

Amazing time with my wife on a tandem kayak, it was my first time, the guides before we went out (they don’t go with you) showed, explained, and taught us all we needed to know to have a great time! Great place to see dolphins, boats, and many other surrounding areas! We will be back!

Very friendly and professional staff. They were very helpful and accommodating. Our group was a few minutes late in turning in our kayak and they were still very nice and understanding, even though it would have been totally justified for them not to be.

Elizabeth from natures adventures really made you feel comfortable before going out with great instructions Natural scenery Heads up wind makes going one way pretty challenging I did about 2 hours good workout as well

Took a leisurely trip with the family up and down Shem creek. Marsh grasses, shrimp boats, local home architecture and splashing dolphins right in front of our kayak. Staff was great as was parking. Ate right next door for lunch at a seafood restaurant overlooking the water.

Our Nature Aventures experience was excellent. They were friendly and organized. The safety/instructional briefing was very good. The Shem Creek area was a wonderful place to paddle. Upstream was quiet and marshy. Downstream was busier with more opportunity to see sea life. Recommended!!!

such a gorgeous area! the workers were friendly, professional & fun! my husband & I got a tandem kayak and were about to see a dolphin, get a fun light workout in and also see John B & Sarah while they filmed OuterBanks on the creek!! 10/10 and would definitely go again
