Really friendly and informative staff! On the logistical end; I would’ve preferred a shorter kayak and wished there were kayak specific lanes. Once you’re out in the channel, boat traffic was pretty heavy the morning I was there and at times hard to predict which direction a boat was headed!😳. All in all, it was fun!

Always a great time!

We've done four or five kayaking adventures with Nature Adventures. We usually have a group of about twenty, mostly composed of teenagers on an experiential education trip. The guides are patient and focused on safety. They bring a deep knowledge of the marsh and harbor to their work, pointing out wildlife, explaining the economics and environmental questions related to shrimping, pollution, and shipping in Charleston. Students come away happy, tired, and full of new information. It's always a highlight of the trip. It also goes off without a hitch - on time, on budget, consistently a success. Bravo to the whole team.

Wonderful day kayaking on the water! Before you go, be advised that the water temperature and the air temperature needs to add up to 100 in order for them to launch the kayaks. 🤷‍♀️ We had a good experience and we recommend this company to others!!

Rented a Tandem kayak for 4 hrs and is one of the best experiences for the price around. Had a great lunch at Vickery's afterward, which made our parking free. Highly recommend!

Wow great staff and even friendlier dolphins!!!!

I love just going out on my own kayaking. It did start to get crazy out there around 10am. We started at 9:15am and got to see a dolphin and all the boats on Shem Creek. The tide was very low though and I wished they would've warned us where it was so low, because we got stuck a few times. Other than that the instructors were great! I love Shem Creek!!

PUT MT. PLEASNT SEAFOOD IN AS THE ADDRESS TO LOCATE THIS PLACE. Hard to find due to small sign but worth the search! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. $8 water phone cases for rent. Map of the canal was attached to the kayak. parking was mostly paid, but if you’re lucky you can find a free spot along a curb.

This is great way to spend a morning on the water. We rented kayaks and had wonder views and observed the beauty of Intercoastal Waterway. We look forward to going out again very soon and have already booked our second trip to go down the creek the other way.

such a gorgeous area! the workers were friendly, professional & fun! my husband & I got a tandem kayak and were about to see a dolphin, get a fun light workout in and also see John B & Sarah while they filmed OuterBanks on the creek!! 10/10 and would definitely go again

Good experience. It would be great if they made sure all the kayaks had adjustable straps for a more ergonomic and comfortable experience.

Friendly staff and easy to book. I was given everything I needed and great directions on where to go.

It was a beautiful day for a kayak ride! The water was high due to a storm the night before but we still had to navigate through the marsh...which is what made it fun. The kayaks were all set-up upon our arrival, life jackets were provided and we were reminded to bring/drink plenty of water and use sunscreen. I appreciated that the guides pointed things out but didn't feel the need to talk non-stop. I also liked that we were exploring/finding our way based on conditions that day.

We rented kayaks for 4 hours/half day and had a great time! We saw several dolphins and it was very relaxing to just sit and watch the boats and the waves. It was super easy to make a reservation and we had no problems getting our kayaks or any issues on the water. Definitely recommend Nature Adventures if you are looking to kayak on Shem Creek!
