This was my first time in Charleston and my friend and I rented kayaks for a 1/2 day! This was more than enough time to go out and around and explore the different area it has to offer! I highly recommend booking with them!

You can kayak next to pods of dolphins. I don’t know how to sell you more on this.

My friend and I did a 2 hour kayaking adventure yesterday morning. The staff here are friendly and professional. We had a great time and will be back again!!! Shem Creek is a beautiful area full of a lot of wildlife. You may see snowy egrets, loons, pelicans, herons, and dolphins on your adventure!

In total it was about $50 per person (2 of us) for 4 hours which isnt too bad! Staff was friendly and helpful. We're here on labor day weekend and went out about 9:30 in the morning on Saturday. As soon as we launched off the ramp we were greeted by a dolphin (picture attached) and he or she breached right by us multiple times! Already worth the money. Saw quite a few birds and we even were greeted by an alligator (no pic of him or her, we decided to put some distance there). Lots of other friendly kayakers/paddle boarders/boaters on the water and overall a good vibe and awesome experience. Definitely worth taking a morning to do this! A great company with very nice people working there. They were so knowledgeable about the area. I often travel to kayak and this place had great rental equipment, which I’m found is usually not the case when I’m renting. Would definitely use them again.

The staff there were very nice! The day my friend and went, they were short staffed. They did their best to accommodate, and worked very hard to get people in the water. I will definitely be back!

Rented a Tandem kayak for 4 hrs and is one of the best experiences for the price around. Had a great lunch at Vickery's afterward, which made our parking free. Highly recommend!

Great experience! Their price for kayak rentals cannot be beat! 40 bucks for 4 hours. Not bad at all. Staff gives a very thorough safety brief, and the staff is amazingly friendly!

Great place to rent kayaks on Shem Creek. Saw many great shore birds including several Oystercatchers. Easy paddle. Great customer service and friendly folks.

We rented 2 Kayaks. $35 each for 4.5 hours! Very fun! They show you how to paddle, give you a map and let you take off! We went up Shem creek and around the harbor a bit. Tide was out so we couldn't do as much adventuring as we would have liked. Parked the Kayaks at the dock and ran into Reds to get a couple of beers for the trek! Great relaxing fun! DO IT!

The guides were excellent at explaining the how to's of kayaking to a novice. They gave very good instructions on where to kayak and where we could go/not go. We got to see several dolphins and birds near bird island. We ended up getting there in time for the happy hour special so it was $25/person for 2 hours without a guide. But it was perfect amount of time to kayak around the area. The wind/tide were pretty strong so we would have been too tired to kayak much longer or go much further. If back in the area we would definitely do it again!

Had an amazing time! Got to see dolphins and manatees and over all awesome experience with the staff! I’ve been coming here for a quite a while and never had a horrible experience !!

What a great three hours this was!! Beautiful weather, amazing sights, good exercise, wonderful assistance from the staff… we won’t be waiting long to kayak Shem Creek again. Thank you, Nature Adventures, for creating such an exceptional memory for my grandsons and me. ☺️
