such a gorgeous area! the workers were friendly, professional & fun! my husband & I got a tandem kayak and were about to see a dolphin, get a fun light workout in and also see John B & Sarah while they filmed OuterBanks on the creek!! 10/10 and would definitely go again

We had the best time at Shem Creek. Shem Creek Inn is located right on the waterway and within walking distance to many restaurants. The hotel was top notch. I had never been before but will definitely be back.

I took my niece kayaking for the first time, and she loved it. Everyone was kind and patient while she got comfortable with the experience. We didn’t see much wildlife, but paddling between the reeds was quite lovely. We did have our excursion cut short by an aggressive storm that blew us off course a bit, but we made it back and thankfully staff was there waiting to pull us in since the wind was blowing so hard. Considering to make niece, and nephew again tomorrow.

Had a great experience kayaking on Shem Creek. Staff at nature adventures were very welcoming and informative. Would highly recommend.

Rented a Tandem kayak for 4 hrs and is one of the best experiences for the price around. Had a great lunch at Vickery's afterward, which made our parking free. Highly recommend!

I 100% loved my kayaking experience here last weekend. It was more than I ever imagined! Lots to explore and sooooo many beautiful dolphin. The staff were friendly and helpful. Do it! It's fun!

The nicest people and the easiest rental ever ! We were only in Charleston for a couple of days and wanted to do a couple hrs paddling…. A quick Google landed us here and we were so lucky as everyone was so friendly and helpful ! Trust me , if you want a kayak, paddle board etc and to go on own or a tour just go here ! Simple. It’s run by a lovely couple who sorted the rental and told us where to head. Loads of nature and dolphins and we had a blast ! Next time when in area we will do a tour with these guys for sure ! Thanks nature adventures, your great ;-)

Booked a 4 hour rental with kayaks. The guides gave a great overview and tutorial. Great way to see the area.

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. We were very very fortunate on our trip to see a dolphin which swam no more than 10 feet away from us for about 5 minutes. Unforgettable moments like that will definitely bring us back.
