This was a great experience for my college softball team!! We had so much fun and learned so many useful things to carry into our season. Would highly recommend for any team or business bonding!!!

Shem Creek is a really cool place to visit. We had a great time on our kayak tour. Matt was very knowledgeable about the waterways and Charleston. It was neat to see the shrimp boats & pelicans as well.

I’ve been wanting to kayak Shem Creek for a couple years and I finally did it this week! Dan was my guide and he was super knowledgeable about the area and the local wildlife. The tour was very laidback and fun. I definitely recommend visiting Nature Adventures on your next trip to the Charleston area!

We couldn't have had more fun. Dolphins so close to the kayak, it was almost scary. Our tour guide, Ethan, was the best tour guide I've ever had. Knowledgeable and funny. They should double their prices. It would still be worth every penny.

We rented two kayaks for a two hour tour. We got out quickly and easily . Our guide Jim was very helpful, friendly, and informative. Jim took pictures of our group and sent them to our phone. We saw several local birds and a pair of very happy dolphins. The water was calm and the sites were beautiful. It was an amazing morning. Thank you Jim and NAO. 👍👍

Charlie was amazing and so knowledgeable! Our group had a wonderful time, all of the staff was so courteous and friendly. Will definitely be back and recommend to all of our friends! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We went on the 3 hour tour of Shem Creek with my 16 year old daughter and it was great. We all enjoyed it. Nice way to be out on the water and learn about the area. Matt was a great guide.

The kayak tour was absolutely fantastic! Our guide Ben took us on what we thought would be just a lovely kayak tour around the local waterways but we ended up getting so much more - Ben was a wonderful host explaining a wide range of interesting things about local life, the animals and nature we spotted during the beautiful tour (we even saw dolphins for a few seconds, a total surprise, unbelievable!) and for our teens the best part was the surprise behind-the-scenes tour of the Outerbanks tv show which was filmed right there in Charleston. During the tour we got to see a few set locations and hear a bunch of stories about how things were shot. Highly recommend this tour to anyone (including adults who have no idea what Outerbanks is ;)).

Nicole was terrific and the tour was actually very informative if you are into nature. There is one suggestion that I would make is that maybe put some bars on the sides of the pilings when you launch your kayak to give the kayakers a sense of stability as the leave the launch. I was a little embarrassed when I left the boat launch because I almost tipped. LOL ! The only reason I'm giving this a 4 and not a 5 is so that it is seen by the company.

Staff were great! Only drawback was the tour didn't happen because not enough people signed up and tour guide wasn't there. So, book early if you can. Saw lots of dolphin and pelicans near the shrimp boats. It was perfect timing. Location is great! Can walk through Shem Creek and lots of great restaurants/bars along the water where you can also boat/dolphin watch.

My wife and I enjoyed our time kayaking on Shem Creek. Our tour guide, Charlie, did a great job of informing us of SC History, wildlife, and other cool things along the creek and out in the Charleston Harbor. We have been coming together to Charleston for 35 years. I hate we waited this long before experiencing this exciting adventure. I would highly recommend!! Lance and Laura Roberts

This was a great way to start our Sunday - beautiful weather, very friendly and knowledgeable guide (Jacob) and just a chill tour of Shem Creek and Crab Bank Island. Definitely would recommend Nature Adventures!
