This was a truly enjoyable experience and definitely worth the price. We went on a sunset kayak tour. Graham was an amazing guide. He was so informative and attentive. It was our first time kayaking, and he helped to make it a flawlessly easy experience. He is very experienced and helps the guests feel comfortable and confident as well. The views were invigorating. In addition it is thrilling to be up close to the wild life without fear for their safety and yours. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Charleston.

We had a great experience! They were able to do a private trip for our party of 8 with Benjamin our guide. He was very good at explaining all the history along the outing along with taking us to an area where we saw both dolphin and manatees.

We were lucky enough to get in an afternoon of Kayaking before the virus caused the company to temporarily close. We had Eric as our guide and he was fantastic, so knowledgeable about the wild life. There were 6 of us and we paddled down the creek in both directions. We saw several different birds and were treated to a dolphin playing with us at the end of our tour. The company owner, Ben, was super helpful. The kayaks are clean and in great shape. We had a great day! I highly recommend this company for an outdoor adventure. The price is reasonable and it is a great way to spend the afternoon. I’m looking forward to doing this again the next time I am in town.

We took the Wambaw swamp 2 hour kayaking tour with Will as our guide and had a phenomenal time! The swamp is one of the coolest things I've ever seen! The cypress trees, some as old as 1600-1800 years, were so cool. We saw about 10 alligators, so be prepared! It was awesome. Also saw turtles, goldfinches, and egrets. Will was super knowledgeable and a great guide. Lots of bugs, including ticks, so maybe use some spray, and take a hat! I had never kayaked before but took right to this.

We had Steve as our guide and he was great. He knew a lot about the area, the habitat and the wildlife on our trip. The two hour kayak package was just the right amount of time for me. He was sure to go over all water safety protocol's. He found shark teeth on the bird sanctuary island and shared them with everyone in our group. Do it ! It's fun.

We booked a kayak tour with Nature Adventures and were very pleased ! Our guide was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and made the experience fun for us adults and the kids. Saw lots of dolphins !!! I would highly recommend.

So informative and picturesque! Honestly, this was the best experience of our trip! We saw dolphins, lots of birds, learned about sea preservation in the area. It was amazing!

We had a great time on the kayak tour led by Tori ( we were fortunate to get a solo tour as others canceled due to weather!)! She was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to all our questions as we viewed several wonderful species of wildlife. Will definitely be back for another tour soon!

Our family did the guided tour in tandem kayaks: two adults with our 11 & 8 year olds. Very pleasant experience with a great guide who was clearly very knowledgeable about the marsh ecosystem. This was not a particularly vigorous excursion - we are only intermittent kayakers and found the pace very manageable and even a little too easy but it was a relaxing and enjoyable introduction to the area.

Took my family out for a kayaking trip and we had an absolute blast. Shawn was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and super patient with everyone. The entire crew went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and felt confident on the water. From the moment we arrived to the final paddle back, everything was smooth, fun, and memorable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a top-tier family adventure!

Nice opportunity to get out on the water while visiting Charleston. Charlie was a great guide and shared some local knowledge. Scenery is okay…shrimp boats along creek, variety of birds, shrimp jumping into kayak. Dolphins and Manatees are always a chance but no luck on my outing.

Fantastic kayaking experience! Our guide enhanced the tour with lots of fun and interesting information about the history, natural environment, and current state of the area.

Our guide, Cindy, was knowledgeable and treated us like family :) Great scenery and wonderful way to get in some exercise. Would highly recommend.

We went on a 2 hour kayak tour. If you must stick to a tight schedule, this isn't your best option, we didn't set out until almost 45mins after the indicated start time, BUT when we did it was great. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic for what she was doing. We saw dolphins, manatees, so many birds. Definitely the highlight of my trip to Charleston!

Worth a drive outside the city. Glad we took the time to paddle Francis Marion Nat. Park. Relaxing, peaceful paddle with outstanding guide. Thanks Matt for making our trip both pleasant and educational. We had the opportunity to view several alligators, an owl, a copper head, corcoran, great blue heron, white heron, turtles, warblers, and fiddlers crab colonies. The paddle was perfect for beginners or the more experienced. Our trip was organized and on time! We were well equipped and this company is very environmentally friendly. Matt was more than well versed on the history of the area, fauna and local species of animals, reptiles and fowl. Highly recommend.

We had the absolute best time during our tour. It was one of the many activities my husband and I did on our honeymoon and one of our absolute favorites. Our tour guide was amazing and every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly and made sure we were 100% comfortable. It was my first time kayaking and their instruction was very helpful and informative. Our guide was very fun, friendly, and informative. Encouraged questions and conversation. We absolutely recommend. It was amazing!

Matt was our guide this morning on Nowell Creek! Amazing knowledge of flora and fauna. Also very kind and patient with all levels of kayaking ability. Learned a lot today from Matt. Great experience.

What a great way to see Shem Creek and Mt Pleasant from the water! Christian was a great tour guide filled with knowledge and stories to share with us. The dolphin swimming past us on the way back in was an awesome touch!

Great backwater tour led by Jay! Jay was friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful day. Saw several gators. Only drawback is that there was a shortage of other wildlife. Very fun day!

We had my brother visiting from overseas, so decided to take him out on Shem Creek for the morning (8am-10am - which I highly recommend as it’s quieter on the water and not too hot), and then to lunch at Vickery’s after. We have never kayaked here before, and have lived in North Charleston for six years. Now we’re wondering why we haven’t done it before! We had Diane as our tour guide and did the two hour kayak, in tandems. Diane was fabulous - patient and inclusive of everyone in the group - just as chatty and interested in the six year old as she was with the adults. She was knowledgeable, experienced, and delightful, and made the excursion so easy and fun. The weather was perfect, and everyone we came into contact with at the company was wonderful - friendly and professional. My son had injured his finger the day before, and Diane and the other staff were wonderful with him. He desperately wanted to paddle, and he managed to, in a tandem with his dad, despite the injury, and Diane was so attentive to him and joked around and made him feel so good. I highly recommend Nature Adventures - we will definitely be back!

Excellent guide (Matt) who was super knowledgeable and taught me more about tides than I ever learned in school!
