I have done several 2 hr guided kayak tours through Nature Adventures. They have all been fun and very informative. Elizabeth had encyclopedic knowledge of the local birds, plants and history of the area.

The Shem Creek Kayak tour was a highlight of our trip! We booked a group tour, but nobody else has booked so it turned into a private tour! The staff was extremely friendly and patient as this was our first time kayaking. Ben was a great guide and we got some awesome shots! Great opportunity to see wildlife such as dolphins, manatees, and various birds. Definitely recommend!

We went on the 3 hour tour of Shem Creek with my 16 year old daughter and it was great. We all enjoyed it. Nice way to be out on the water and learn about the area. Matt was a great guide.

We were first time kayakers. Ben, our guide, was amazing and full of information. He was great explaining all that we needed to do to operate our kayaks. He was also patient and great with kids. We absolutely loved our tour. We saw a lot of wild life, birds and dolphins. We would definitely come back and do this again! Thanks for such a great first time experience.

We had a wonderful time on our tour yesterday. Our guide, Ben, was very informative and just an all round fun and funny guy. We saw an egret, a manatee and a two dolphins. Great experience, I’ll definitely be back!

Definitely had a blast and the tour guide was amazing and had knowledge! We had kids with us and he did everything to keep them involved! Would definitely recommend this for anyone

We decided to do the two hour kayaking tour experience to explore the area. Our guide took us out into the harbor and down one little muddy "river". We spent most of the time floating instead of paddling. I guess we expected more due to the pictures featured on the website. We wont use them again.

It was a beautiful day. Elizabeth was very knowledgeable and helpful on this trip. I highly recommend booking with her.

The kayaking tour was fantastic. The guide was wonderful and very patient. We even got to see dolphins!!

It was so fun! They were instructive and accommodating. They gave us a good route to go on and we had a great time with good equipment.

We participated in a 10 person sunset kayak tour. There were 5 adults and 5 kids, each kid paired with an adult in tandem kayaks. The weather was perfect and Ben, our guide, did an excellent job educating us on our surroundings in Shem Creek. We saw 5 dolphins and paddles out to sandbar where we hunted for shells and shark teeth while watching the sun set. Weather was perfect and all of the kids, ranging in age from 5 to 11, had a great time and helped paddle making this a great family-friendly excursion!

Wonderful Staff! Elizabeth was able to open up an "extra" tour group as the one I requested was already booked solid and my daughter was coming in for the weekend and we wanted to kayak while she was visiting. Everything went beautifully. Caroline was our tour guide. She was so informative filling us in about the birds, the marshes, Charleston, etc. She constantly checked in on us to make sure everyone was doing ok, especially if we fell a little behind her in the group. The location is great, the staff is great, and the weather was great. So what else could I say? Well, we will definitely be back again. It was our second time there, and my daughter's first time. She never kayaked before but Caroline gave us a quick tutorial before getting out in the water. It was loads of fun and we know we will be back again and again. We had an amazing time on Shem Creek! Our tour guide, Charlie, was fantastic! He had a wonderful sense of humor, a great disposition, and really made the day special. He also shared so much interesting information about the area, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It was such a fun day with friends!

Clayton and Matt were the most incredible tour guides! They were engaging and funny, and so incredibly knowledgeable about the ecosystems, birds, and geology of the area! I am so incredibly grateful! They made my daughter’s birthday ultra special!

Chose the 2:00 afternoon tour on Wambaw Creek.....excellent choice. John was a fantastic tour guide, pointing out many sites, creatures and nature while meandering on the black water creek. We were mesmerized by the reflections of the 1500 year old Cypress trees. We saw alligators, birds, vegetation, and yellow slick belly turtles while floating in the serene quietness of nature. We highly recommend this tour and would do it agin.

I participated on the Wambaw Creek blackwater kayaking tour with Teresa. Perfect! Prepare to learn about wildlife, see centuries old Cypress trees, and discover how the tidal creeks were used in the American Revolution. The group was a mix of experienced paddlers and first-timers. Teresa (and the waters!) remained calm and helpful for the entire journey. 100% recommend this distinct Lowcountry experience. I'm planning another trip to South Carolina ASAP so I can go on more adventures with Nature Adventures Outfitters.

The kayak trip we took gave us a great appreciation of all of the things that are around that we don’t normally see. By that I mean the wildlife. Our guide had incredible knowledge of the plants and animals. A lot to see and learn.

My friend and I were with Elizabeth for a morning of birding and couldn't possibly say enough wonderful things about her and our birding experience! She was a pleasure to be with, great sense of humor. Rain was predicted for the morning (entire day, in fact!) but she met us there at 8:00, determined we would watch birds if at all possible. Eventually the rain cleared up and we happily birded with her for the whole four hours, sometimes from the car, sometimes doggedly standing in the drizzle and wind, but seeing some great birds. Thank you Elizabeth! We have already recommended you to our local bird club and Audubon Society!
