This was one of the highlights of our vacation. We did the 3 hour tour. We saw most of the marine life creatures we hoped to see, plus more. Tillman was an amazing guide- full of facts on history, marine life and environment. He even knew the local dolphin pod, and their family dynamics. We highly recommend the tour and Tillman.

We had a wonderful experience with Charlie, our guide. Only one of the five us had been in a kayak. Great training overview, lots of staff to launch us. We saw tons of dolphins, had a great history lesson and no one ended up in the creek. Would definitely rebook! The website was easy too book with tons of great information.

We were excited about out kayaking trip until we woke up to rain, However, the lovely woman at Nature Adventures assured us it was a water sport and to head on over. We were glad that we did. We saw a dolphin or two and had a really nice, pretty good workout without the sun beaming down on us. Very enjoyable. Our guide, Bob, was the right combination of helpful and funny.

We had an awesome sunrise paddle on Shem Creek a week ago which included amazing views of Crab Island's bird sanctuary. Our tour was made exceptional by the care and attention of our guide Cindy who provided so much information on the natural habitats we were exploring. My husband and I had paddled before but never with such an amazing guide.

My nephew and his wife were visiting me from MI. Charlie was our tour guide and he shared so many fun , fascinating and historical facts about Shem Creek and Cran Island. It will always be a great memory for us all thinking back on the beautiful weather, calm waters full of Dolohins surrounding us and great conversations.

The kayaking tour was fantastic. The guide was wonderful and very patient. We even got to see dolphins!!

We went on a 2 hour guided tour down Shem Creek, through one of the side creeks, and out to the Charleston Harbor. Caroline, our guide, was very nice, knowledgeable and patient. We all had a blast, the kids loved it. It gave us a different view of the area, from a new perspective. Make sure to bring water, wear clothes that can get wet, wear sunscreen, hats and shades, and go tot the bathroom before going. We would definitely do it again and recommend it to friends and family. Awesome tour with very knowledgeable and friendly guide. It was really cool to explore the marsh areas while our guide shared local history, stories about the old channel uses, and incredible knowledge of every bird that we saw. Highly recommended activity!

This was a great experience! Ethan was our guide and he did a great job sharing facts about the area and the marine life. My husband and I left learning a lot. The kayaking trip is beautiful and gives you a good viewpoint of Shem Creek. You're likely to see dolphins too!

We spent a picturesque day in Mt Pleasant with the folks at NAO yesterday and it was borderline MAGICAL. Truly. We have 3 kids (14,12,7) and took them out for their first kayaking adventure yesterday. It was so nice to get them to unplug from video games, cell phones and laptops and just get out with the family and enjoy nature while spending time together. Our instructor was fantastic with the kids and extremely engaged. He made sure our family was safe, well informed and having fun from the moment we arrived until we waved goodbye 4 hours later. The highlight of the day of course was the dolphin that came right up to my 7 year old who was in the front of my tandem Kayak. We will definitely be back and will recommend NAO to friends, family and anyone who is looking for an incredible, cost effective family outing. Was the BEST day of the entire spring break week!

Easy paddle for the whole family. Matt our guide was very knowledgeable about the marsh ecosystem.

Our tour guide, Matt, was unbelievably knowledgeable and excellent at his job. The tour was very interesting and the views are stunning. The whole staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were worried parking would be an issue but we were able to find free parking in the lot right next to the park which was super convenient. Be sure to use sunscreen and bring water on the tour because it is very hot. Also note that the tour is pretty “chill,” meaning you’re not going to be getting a big work out in paddling. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!!

Went out with Ben and had a fantastic time with the Family. We were able to see some Dolphins, the beautiful nature of the area along with some local history. All and all it was a absolutely amazing time with the family that I would recommend to anyone!!!

We went with our two teen girls. We decided to stick them in a kayak together. We did not have a guided tour, it was just us in double kayak's heading out. We were given a map though. We had a great time and went up and down the water way almost to the ocean. We saw lots of birds and a couple turtles, but not much else. My one daughter hated every minute of it, and the other one didn't complain at all. But in looking at them they didn't work together very well. We'd probably switch up to have an adult in each boat next time, but it's doubtful we could get her to do it again! The pricing is reasonable, the equipment was great and the waterway was very serene. Definitely worth doing and hopefully your kids will like it more than mine!

First time kayaking and what a great time! The guide was incredible even pulling a jellyfish out of the creek! Dolphins right next to kayak, incredible. Staff so professional. Definitely recommend Nature Adventures!

The knowledge the staff has amazing. Our guide Matt the knowledge he had he must have a degree in marine biology. He knew all the bird but pointed out little crabs and explained that the male have 1 large claw using it for the mating. It was only on our way back did the dolphins appear we saw one by the outer bank area we were at and two in the inlet. We sat for a good 20 minutes watching as they fed on what was thrown off from the fishing boats.

The weather was perfect. The water was perfect. The nature was perfect. Jay, my guide was a blend of rockstar historian, naturalist/educator, kayak instructor, buddy and comedian. He kept his eye on the water, my safety and whether I was OK, while all the while keeping our small group moving forward. It was a delightful way to spend a Saturday morning (as a lone girl traveling) in the Charleston area. HIGHLY recommend. Will be going back with my 13 year old son in tow.

We participated in a 10 person sunset kayak tour. There were 5 adults and 5 kids, each kid paired with an adult in tandem kayaks. The weather was perfect and Ben, our guide, did an excellent job educating us on our surroundings in Shem Creek. We saw 5 dolphins and paddles out to sandbar where we hunted for shells and shark teeth while watching the sun set. Weather was perfect and all of the kids, ranging in age from 5 to 11, had a great time and helped paddle making this a great family-friendly excursion!

We had a 3 hour kayak tour of Shem Creek and the bay. Diana was a phenomenal guide. We have done several kayaking tours around Charleston and surrounding area, and this was by far the best one yet!

Had a group of 10 who were all interested in doing a morning kayak on a Saturday. I was a little late at the planning of this so the online tours were already full. I called the office and they were extremely accommodating by creating an earlier kayak outing just for our group! We met up with Matt who took us out on Shem Creek. He was highly informative about the marsh, marine life and birds. We learned about how the tide being high or low can affect so many things including hurricanes. This was the perfect way to start our Saturday! Thanks Matt for a wonderful and informative tour on the Creek.
