My wife and I did a two hour kayaking trip and it was definitely a highlight for my vacation in Charleston. We had a great group and guide Jim who was extremely knowledgeable with the history and animal life. We were fortunate to see a number of dolphins and manatees and birds and a sea turtle all up close. Very relaxing and fun for groups or couples. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great day on the water.

Great guide, beautiful setting, learned so much about the flora, fauna, and history of Shem Creek and Charleston with recommendations too! Took my 7-year-old along and they had a great animal search and find and kept a great pace that was ok for the whole group. Second time with this company and can’t wait to return again!

Awesome tour with very knowledgeable and friendly guide. It was really cool to explore the marsh areas while our guide shared local history, stories about the old channel uses, and incredible knowledge of every bird that we saw. Highly recommended activity!

We were lucky enough to get in an afternoon of Kayaking before the virus caused the company to temporarily close. We had Eric as our guide and he was fantastic, so knowledgeable about the wild life. There were 6 of us and we paddled down the creek in both directions. We saw several different birds and were treated to a dolphin playing with us at the end of our tour. The company owner, Ben, was super helpful. The kayaks are clean and in great shape. We had a great day! I highly recommend this company for an outdoor adventure. The price is reasonable and it is a great way to spend the afternoon. I’m looking forward to doing this again the next time I am in town.

This was a truly enjoyable experience and definitely worth the price. We went on a sunset kayak tour. Graham was an amazing guide. He was so informative and attentive. It was our first time kayaking, and he helped to make it a flawlessly easy experience. He is very experienced and helps the guests feel comfortable and confident as well. The views were invigorating. In addition it is thrilling to be up close to the wild life without fear for their safety and yours. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Charleston.

We booked this trip several months ago from the UK. The swamp was beautiful and the canoeing was excellent. We saw plenty of wildlife including alligators, a snakea and 2 barred owls and got some great camera shots. The guide was very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the nature. All in all a brilliant trip which exceeded our expectations.

I had such a great time on the 2 hour kayak tour!! We were in a tandem kayak and the tour group was 6 total. It was such a great experience and I highly recommend! We saw dolphins, which made it even better. But best of all was our tour guide. Ethan made the experience and it was a highlight of our vacation!

This was our second time with this group. The trip is kayaking thru a creek in black water swamp. Nature Adventurers provided all that was needed. Our guide (Theresa) was excellent with throrough knowledge of area and wildlife. Would highly recommend trip and Theresa.

Had an awesome experience with Matt - knowledgeable and fun guide through the creek and stopped by Crab Bank to pick through fossils and shark teeth. Saw some dolphins playing and a bunch of different birds. Would highly recommend!

Best way to start July 4th. Laid back kayaking of Shem Creek with Dan, a marine biologist who has been on the area nearly a decade. Insiders tour of the ecology and stories of some of the local residents/boats. Dan is super knowledgeable and fantastic. Thanks, Nature Adventures for a Covid-free morning!

This was a great experience! Ethan was our guide and he did a great job sharing facts about the area and the marine life. My husband and I left learning a lot. The kayaking trip is beautiful and gives you a good viewpoint of Shem Creek. You're likely to see dolphins too!

I had such a good time on my first kayaking trip that I booked another the week after! The first one with Charlie & the 2nd with Matt. Both guides were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable of history, marine life and had us feeling safe in the water. I can't wait to come back! Plus we saw SO MANY DOLPHINS!!! Thank you so much!

This place was fantastic! The location is perfect and we saw some dolphins and manatees on our two hour group kayak tour. Such beautiful surroundings! Our guides George, Hazel, and Dan were all fantastic! So knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. I was actually really nervous and had never kayaked before but they were so reassuring. Definitely recommend them and Nature Adventure in general. They provide an amazing experience!

Had a group of 10 who were all interested in doing a morning kayak on a Saturday. I was a little late at the planning of this so the online tours were already full. I called the office and they were extremely accommodating by creating an earlier kayak outing just for our group! We met up with Matt who took us out on Shem Creek. He was highly informative about the marsh, marine life and birds. We learned about how the tide being high or low can affect so many things including hurricanes. This was the perfect way to start our Saturday! Thanks Matt for a wonderful and informative tour on the Creek.

My husband and I went on their 3 hour kayak tour. It cost $57 per person and the guide really didn't add anything to the experience other than going really slow to stretch the time out to 3 hours. Rent your own kayaks and go out to bird island and then explore the saltmarsh. Renting will cost you $45 for 4 hours for a double and you can go at your own pace. Still worth a visit on your own!

Definitely had a blast and the tour guide was amazing and had knowledge! We had kids with us and he did everything to keep them involved! Would definitely recommend this for anyone

We had an absolutely fabulous time on our kayak tour! The guides are wonderful, provide lots of instruction for anyone unfamiliar with kayaking, and all of the information they share on the tour is super interesting. We loved spotting some dolphins! Ethan, our tour guide, was awesome and even gave us suggestions on where to eat in the area. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a great experience kayaking with Clayton as our guide at Nature Adventures. Clayton planned the best route for our group, and he has plenty of expertise on the area and its ecology! The “variety” of waterways we toured was excellent. Great way to get out, get some exercise, and see the waterways around Charleston. Nice selection of restaurants nearby also.

We did the 2 hour guided tour, and chose the early morning. We had hoped to see manatees and/or dolphins, but unfortunately we didn't see either. We did have good weather and saw many different birds. It was very peaceful and we didn't really encounter many people until we were headed back in. Our guide was very knowledgeable and identified and explained much of the wildlife we saw. The kayaks are easy to manage even if you aren't a "kayaker"

Had a great time on the kayak tour - we loved seeing dolphins and hunting for shark teeth on crab bank island. Charlie, our tour guide, had lots of interesting stories and facts about the Charleston ecosystem and animals!
