Took our 2 kids (13 and 11 yrs old) on a 2 hour kayak tour. Matt was our guide and he was amazing. Was a terrific tour and Matt was extremely knowledgeable about sea life, birds, history, etc. We even saw many dolphins!!!! The staff at Nature Adventures were also extremely courteous and kind. Highly recommend this tour.

Great time kayaking. Dan was a great guide. Extremely knowledgeable on marine life. we saw tons of pelicans and dolphin. Will definitely go again!

Kayaking for two hours was fun, and I learned a lot!

What a fun experience! We booked our outing a day in advance as the weather was looking quite chilly for our trip - it ended up being a BEAUTIFUL day on the water. Ethan was our tour guide and he was cheerful and shared a variety of fun facts with us. Don't hesitate to book a kayak trip with Nature Adventures on Shem Creek!

I recently did a 3.5 + hour guided saltwater kayak tour with Nature Adventure Outfitters. I cannot express what a super time I had. If you plan on a tour with this company you will not be disappointed. Our guide Ed was amazing. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the trip. Ed gave us an extra .5 hour just because he loves to paddle, guide and is passionate about the local flora and fauna. Have fun!

We took a guided kayak tour out of Shem Creek to crab bank and back. We enjoyed the tour very much. Shem Creek can be a little busy at times with boat traffic, but it still worth the trip every time. Great guide and beautiful views.

We spent 3 hours tandem kayaking at a leisurely pace. The scenery and nature viewing were superb. Matt was an excellent guide: polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He provided many details about the ecosystem, history and wildlife of the region. He also shared several stories of historical and civic interest, and was open to any questions. We highly recommend him.

My wife and I took the kayak tour in the early morning. Neither of us had been on a kayak before, but our guide, Jim, had us feeling like pros in no time. The boat traffic was low that day and the water was very calm. Making the day a relaxing, yet fun, way to cap off our vacation. Jim is very knowledgeable about the biology and history of the area. A good trip for the young and old alike.

Bryson was an excellent guide and took us an enjoyable paddle on Shem Creek. We saw several groups of dolphins swimming right beside us. We paddled out to the bird sanctuary and saw many brown pelicans and several newborns. Bryson gave us an excellent overview of the Charleston skyline and the history of its forts. It was a really nice way to spend a morning.

This company is amazing!! I was very unskilled and they treated me with utmost respect! I did not make it far but my daughter and her boyfriend continued. They received an amazing tour and saw wonderful wildlife while the staff assisted me by making it all worth it. I HIGHLY recommend this adventure!!! I will be back and do it right! Thank you for a memory the 3 of us will carry with laughs, love and more!

We did the Panama Birding Eco Tour with Sara Marhenke of Nature Adventures Outfitters and both the tour and Sara were wonderful. She took care of all our needs, hired a great professional birder for a tour and was totally fun. We couldn't be more pleased with our tour. We did several days in Gamboa for not-to-be-believed birding and wildlife tours and some time at the pool bar. The Canopy B & B was clean, friendly and had great backyard birds. The Gamboa Resort has beautiful views and a good pool but service was terrible. We also did a tour of Panama City. I plan on doing tours with Sara in South Carolina soon and look forward to any other tours she does. You won't be disappointed.

If you have an Autistic child, come here and ask for Josh. He was so patient with my child's struggles. He was polite when she interrupted, and continued with what he was saying as I redirected her...but then he always came back to her and said, "so what was your question, Ms V?" And then he answered every single one of her millions of wildlife questions. And not just about Charleston wild life! He answered at least 25 questions about king cobras, another 50 about lantern sharks, and octopuses and squids, and coyotes. There wasn't a single question my child asked that stumped him...and that says a lot! It was the most amazing time!! I can't reccommend them and Josh enough!

Our guide Matt provided a fantastic tour with his scientific & historical perspectives. He provided precautious instruction with the tide & weather issues. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I did the Quimby Creek Kayaking trip with Eli. She is an awesome guide and it was a fun time!

We did the 2 hour guided tour, and chose the early morning. We had hoped to see manatees and/or dolphins, but unfortunately we didn't see either. We did have good weather and saw many different birds. It was very peaceful and we didn't really encounter many people until we were headed back in. Our guide was very knowledgeable and identified and explained much of the wildlife we saw. The kayaks are easy to manage even if you aren't a "kayaker"

Great 2 hour tour with Ethan. Super helpful and informative regarding Wildlife. Also a really nice guy. Helpful with all level of Kayakers. Beautiful scenery and well maintained kayaks. Everyone was really nice and well worth the trip!

Guide was knowledgeable about the area. Pungo Wilderess Expedition Kayaks are roomy and comfortable. Great kayaks to use.

I highly recommend this tour, Matt was our guide and he was knowledgeable, helpful and obviously loves his job. He was a wealth of information and so kind.

We had the best time on this two hour tour of Shem Creek with family and friends. There were eight of us and the guides were so knowledgeable and helpful! I highly recommend this group for kayaking and paddle boards.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The tour guide Steven was excellent!

Shem Creek is a really cool place to visit. We had a great time on our kayak tour. Matt was very knowledgeable about the waterways and Charleston. It was neat to see the shrimp boats & pelicans as well.
